Our professionally trained and uniformed staff will keep your machines cleaned, filled, and working at all times. All Canteen Route Supervisors are experienced and directly oversee accounts under the direction of our Branch Managers. Route Service and Maintenance Supervisors support staff to ensure continuity of service when he or she is out sick or on vacation. Quality is expected to be in every part of our service and starts with a can-do attitude. Every Canteen employee’s responsibility is to provide great vended services you can depend on.

| ROUTE SERVICE
Servicing vending machines right the first time includes:
- Safety comes first.
- Paying attention to details – especially sanitation (CLEANED)
- Maintaining proper codes, dates, and inventory levels (FILLED)
- Handling products with care and not stocking damaged, outdated, unsealed, or unwrapped items.
- Food safety is priority one!
- Recording data accurately, using hand-held computers to track sales.
- Testing machines to ensure they are working properly (WORKING).
- All signage and merchandising in place (MERCHANDISED).
Supervisors and Route Service Staff spend time at the end on each day reviewing that day’s services, and making sure the Route is ready for the next work day.

Intitial and ongoing training includes service procedures, customer relations, safety concerns, proper driving steps, ordering products, food safety, managing inventories, security, cash, and key control procedures and staying current on our client’s service needs.
| MAINTENANCE SUPPORT
If one of our machines does break down, it will be repaired promptly. Our maintenance staff are experienced, all have received training in refrigeration, and each Canteen branch has a 24-hour help line with a mechanic on duty 24/7 – 365 days a year. We promise to respond quickly and will do an excellent job keeping your machines working all year long. Canteen keeps a ready supply of equipment on hand at each of our vending branches in the unlikely event of a serious malfunction. Also, each branch has a dedicated moving truck for well-planned installations and speedy reliable response. |

For preventative maintenance, Route Drivers are trained to perform regular cleaning for all venders, including a monthly compressor cleaning for each refrigerated vender to help reduce maintenance calls. For our hot beverage venders, technicians change-out the Everpure 4C water filters yearly.
OFFICE SUPPORT STAFF
Our Bangor and Saco office staff have for decades, offered dependable, behind the scenes support:
- Taking service calls from 7AM – 5PM (Canteen’s answering service forwards maintenance calls after hours, on weekends, and holidays).
- Handling money room responsibilities
- Drawing up commission payments for clients.
- And now taking “Cash &Carry“ K-cup orders from the general public.
| ACCOUNTABILITY
Canteen has made significant technology investments over the past ten years. Our handheld computers accurately track sales, record cash meters and accurately transfer data to our central computer for processing. Each day, Vending Supervisors closely monitor the day’s activity, checking and verifying fills and cash-ups. Canteen is recognized by our clients for our honesty and accuracy, and for our state-of-the-art route accounting software and procedures. |

| REFUND POLICY
Canteen provides easy access to a “refund envelope” for when our service person is not on location. If a customer loses their money or is not satisfied with his or herproduct, we will give them their money back, a 100% guarantee with no hassles. |
